The Open Council are launching a new *call for work* project all about Newcastle's busiest street, Northumberland Street.

The Open Council are imagining this *call for work* as an ongoing community research project designed to shed new light onto one of the most familiar locations in the city and to transform the image of Northumberland Street in the minds of the members.

Contributions can be made in any way that you wish as long as there is a connection with Northumberland Street in the work. Ideas combined using pictures, music, video or poetry are all very welcome.

The Open Council are also particularly keen to include non-creative or factual type research that is about Northumberland Street so members with an interest in history, geography, science, semiology and situationism are all very welcome to participate. To submitt work or for more information or inquiries contact the Open Council at: northumberlandstreetproject@opencouncil.co.uk

All submissions will be displayed below.
